The December Project

Well y'all, It's time for the December Project. If you don't know what the December Project is, scan down and read some of the previous post where it is discussed. In short, I will be offline until January (Lord willing) and you will not be able to get in touch with me. Phones will be off. Computers will be off. No email. We will be off-grid and not going to town until January.

Here is the letter I just sent out on my email list:

Howdy y'all,

As most of you know, our family will be engaging in what we call "The December Project" like we did last year, only this year it starts tomorrow (Monday the 16th). During that time we will not be going to town, and we will be spending our time on the ranch, doing a lot of things as a family, and separating ourselves from "stuff" for awhile. So we will not be checking email, are not going to be using the phones (which will be turned off), etc. In fact, you won't be able to respond to this email, because as soon as I send it, I'm turning off the generator and the computer until Jan. 1. We do hope you will send us snail mail, in fact we encourage it. Our snail mail address is:

If you are on my December Project snail mail list, expect your first mail sometime next week, or early the following week. If you are not on the December Project list, you can still subscribe by sending me some mail asking to be on the list.
